I’m ashamed to say that before this year I had never carved a pumpkin before… so I’ve decided to make full use of the pumpkins we bought this year and use them to make as many tasty treats as possible!

Make sure you keep the seeds when you carve your pumpkin and you can use them to make a delicious, healthy snack! The seeds are a great source of protein, as well as other good stuff such as iron, zinc and magnesium, which means you can reach for a handful whenever you’re feeling peckish without feeling guilty about it afterwards!
Pumpkin itself is great for your health too, packed full of vitamin A and dietary fibre.
I’m also going to be using half of my pumpkin to make pumpkin puree for desserts, and I’m saving the rest so that I can make pumpkin soup.
What are you going to be using yours for?
