My boyfriend and I went on a very rainy day out to Alton Towers at the weekend.

For those of you who don’t know, it’s a theme park built around a former estate in the middle of England. As well as rides, it has its own gardens, a pagoda, and a cable car that gives you a great view of the park (although I wasn’t warned quite how high that would be!).

Despite being a cold and rainy day, we had a great time – and the firework display in the evening really topped it all off.

This trip has got me thinking about making some theme park style food now – so be on the lookout for some tasty treats! Think burgers with a twist and more…
